- We've got about 80 people confirmed to attend the reunion.

June 18, 2001
- Updated Missing Classmates Page. We
still have no information on about 120 (about 1/3 of the class).
June 14, 2001
- With the deadline slightly over 3 weeks away, we've got
approximately 70 people confirmed to attend, and hear from more classmates all
the time.
- We've added at-the-door pricing at $25.00 per person, after 9:30
p.m. This is for attendance and the class booklet only, and does not
include a meal.
- We should be posting the menu shortly.
- Updated Missing Classmates page.
- A recent article in one of the local Holly/Fenton papers about the
Class Reunion stated that the webmaster (Jim Ferris) was the President of the
Class of 1980. That was a mistake made by the paper. At no time
was the inference to be made that he was the President of the Class (Janice
Ashley), only that he is the President of the Class Reunion Committee.
We do apologize for this mistake and hope that there we no ill feelings caused
by this.
April 3, 2001
- The first payment deadline has passed with a pretty good number of
people sending in their deposits. We will continue to take deposits
until May 1, 2001, but any remaining balance must be sent in my July 1,
2001. We cannot add any more attendees after July 1.
- Did a major revision of the "The Year - 1980" section to
improve navigation and appearance on the web page.
March 13, 2001
- Responses to the first mailing and email notification are
trickling in slowly, but we anticipate greater response in the next few weeks
as the April 1 deadline for deposits grows near.
February 27, 2001
- Sent invitation emails to all of the people listed in
Classmates.com (a total of 56 individuals) and started receiving online
questionnaire results.
February 26, 2001
- Huge website update. Added "The Year - 1980"
sub-section with groups of events and items that were noteworthy in our
graduation year.
February 23, 2001
- The first batch of mailings will go out on Saturday, February 24,
2001. There are about 120 letters going out this time. There will
be another mailing in a month or two. We continue to try to locate
classmates using the Internet, phone books, word of mouth, and we're in the
process of placing flyers around Holly and the Fenton area.
